Four Hundred Years Shizhuzhai

Design Description:

Four-hundred-year-old Nanjing brand Shizhuzhai chose a century-old building from the Republic of China era as home. Anyer House relies on the overall design idea of repairing and benefiting from the old, dedicating the first floor mainly to VIP reception and gallery space, and the second floor to office and VIP space. In line with the principle of repairing the old and benefiting from it, we restore old buildings from the Republic of China in a modern context, injecting many modern elements to renew the old building. The walls of the gallery on the first floor take the form of origami, which can increase the viewing surface from multiple angles. The laying of small bricks slows the pace of pedestrians, allowing us to linger by and appreciate the paintings.
